We offer some of the finest spring turkey hunting in south Texas. Semi-guided or guided hunts are available for this exciting sport. Hunters are taken into the field well before daylight. We hunt for approximately 3-5 hours then everyone is picked up and taken back for lunch, then we go back out in the field for the afternoon hunt. In the evening we will return to camp for another fine meal and to tell the long tales of the day. The ranch has an abundance of Rio Grande turkeys, Hogs, and Javelinas. The areas you could hunt in are dense thickets of mesquite and oak trees to open pasture feeding areas. All hunts are shotgun or bow. The ranch which is located 25 miles south of Falfurrias off of Fm 281, is low fenced and borders the west side of the King ranch.
All our turkey hunts include 2 nights, lodging, food and 3 days of hunting for 2 Rio Grande gobblers, airport transfers from the nearest airport facilities. Guided hunts are one guide to 1-2 hunters. Semi-guided hunts include a guide to take hunters into the field and place them in areas where the birds frequent. Turkey decoys, snake leggings, folding chairs, and shotguns may be available for rent.
Personal hunting equipment, gratuities, adult beverages, decoys, hunting license, and transportation before and after the scheduled hunt.
