Early Season Teal Hunts

Rocking L Outfitters provides quality guided early season Teal hunts in mid-September. We hunt in the Katy, Eagle Lake, Garwood, and Port Lavaca areas. Teal hunts provide plenty of action for a mornings hunt. Teal hunts are fast, and usually filled with non-stop action. Blue-winged Teal is the most common during the hunt, with a few Green-winged Teal mixed in the bag. Teal hunts are in the morning over duck ponds, reservoirs, flooded rice fields, and marsh ponds.

What is furnished:

We provide you with a professional guide and dog, decoys, and a quality pre scouted location for your hunt.

What is not furnished:

What you need to provide is light weight camouflage clothing, hip boots or waders, mosquito repellent, Texas hunting license and waterfowl stamps, Hunter education card (See TPWD page for details), shotgun and non toxic shot. (I recommend 4 or 6). Remember it is warm in mid-September so dress lightly, and avoid neoprene waders. The lightweight breathable waders are much more comfortable this time of year.

You must have a valid Texas hunting license.

Teal Prices:

$100.00 per person per day (Private party is minimum of 4 people. We will gladly take individuals as well.)
Parent and child: $150.00 (18 and under)
No charge for non-shooters. (Please let us know at time of booking)
To confirm date(non-refundable): half down
