Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we require a 50% deposit to secure a date.

What should I bring?

Texas Hunting License
Texas Duck Stamp
Federal Migratory Stamp
Hunter Education Card (if required)
Shotgun and nontoxic shells (We recommend #4 and #2 for ducks; BBB's for geese)
Rain Gear
Chest wadders (sometimes you can get by with knee boots and waterproof bibs/pants)
Camera
Ice Chest
Snack for in the field
Proper camo clothing (temperatures can range from the 30s to the 80s, so be prepared)
Face mask
Gloves

Can I bring my dog?

We provide quality, well trained retrievers for your hunt, but you are more than welcome to bring your own dog. All that we ask is that you let us know when you book your hunt.

What types of geese will we hunt?

Snows, Blues, Ross, Specklebelly, & Canadas.

What types of ducks will we hunt?

Pintails, Shovlers, Greenwing teal, Bluewing teal, Widgeon, Gadwall, Redheads, Canvasbacks, Bluebills, & Mottled ducks

Do you offer bird cleaning?

Yes, for an additional fee.

Do you accept individual hunters?

Yes, you are welcome to hunt with us. We will place you with other individuals or small groups. Our parties are generally 4 - 8 people.

Are non-hunters allowed?

Yes, but please tell us in advance so we can be sure we can accommodate your guest.

What kind of goose decoys do you use?

Whatever it takes to bring in the birds! You may hunt over Texas wind socks, Farm Forms, Texas flat rags, shells, full bodies or some combination.

How many decoys do you use?

For goose hunting anywhere from 1,000 to as few as 200 at times. It depends on what the birds are doing in the field.

Why do all your prices include a (+ Tips)?

Gratuities for guides and cooks are customary, the guides provide all of their own equipment at their cost. Normal amounts vary, but here is a general suggestion per hunter.
